Regional Center for the Care and Shelter of Elderly People in Tafersit

Origins and Establishment
The Tafersit Elderly Care Home was established on September 1, 2023, as part of a social and humanitarian vision aimed at providing a safe and comfortable environment for seniors living in vulnerable conditions or without shelter.
The center seeks to ensure a dignified life for the elderly by offering medical, social, and psychological care within a family-like, supportive atmosphere that respects their human dignity and strengthens their sense of belonging and affection.

This project falls within Axis 2 of the National Initiative for Human Development, dedicated to supporting people in vulnerable situations by improving their living conditions and providing spaces for care, shelter, and social support.

The Tafersit Elderly Care Home is the first institution of its kind in Driouch Province, equipped according to modern social and health standards.
Accommodation Wings
Three residential wings with a capacity of 16 beneficiaries (men and women)
Healthcare
A medical care room dedicated to treatment and monitoring residents’ health
Balanced Nutrition
A dining hall equipped to provide balanced meals
Prayer Room
A dedicated space for worship and prayer
Recreational Facilities
Green spaces and areas for relaxation and light physical activity
Administration
A fully equipped administration responsible for managing and coordinating services
